Awareness raising event at MATE, Hungary

The Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) organized its first awareness-raisings event on 24 May 2023. „Equal opportunities for researchers and teachers in agricultural sciences and STEM fields”

The event was held on-site (hybrid mode) and included a roundtable discussion on a topic that wasn’t just focused on women, but rather inclusive of all genders. Participants were able to learn about the experiences of women researchers in STEM fields through a diverse program. They gained insight into the purpose of GEP and how a well-crafted plan can promote equality. Additionally, the AGRIGEP project was introduced by the coordinator. The event was held in the national language.
