European Sustainable Development Week (ESDW)

Thousands of events take place across Europe every year during the European Sustainable Development Week: conferences, exhibitions, workshops, seminars, film screenings, community meetings, open days and many other activities. The aim is one: to show that we care about the future of the world we live in.

Within this event, the AGRIGEP project organised a session entitled SDG 5: Gender Lens Belongs to Sustainability, led by Jana Mazancová from Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU), highlighting frameworks and paths to achieving gender equality with a special focus on academia, agriculture and forestry in countries of both the Global North and South.

CZU contributes to this debate through its research projects (AGRIGEP, Fem4Forest).
