info@agrigep.euOn November 13-14, 2024, the AGRIGEP project team gathered for its annual meeting at the University of Primorska in Koper. The meeting in Koper opened with remarks by Katharina Buse (REA) and Hana Tenglerová (DG RTD). Participants reviewed project progress, including KPIs, future activities, and stakeholder engagement strategies. The second day focused on gender equality, featuring a workshop and panel discussion on women’s empowerment. The event concluded with a meeting between the Rector and Deans of the University of Primorska, reaffirming their commitment to advancing gender equality.
The AGRIGEP project addresses gender inequality, a major barrier in research and innovation (R&I), which limits the capabilities and capacities of research and educational institutions. Despite significant global efforts, widening countries still face persistent inequalities in this area.
The AGRIGEP consortium includes leading universities: the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE), Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU), and the University of Primorska (UP). Mentoring institutions include Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya BarcelonaTech (UPC), the Association for Hungarian Women in Science (NaTE), and Yellow Window, a multidisciplinary consultancy specializing in gender equality and social innovation.
The CZU Prague team made valuable contributions to discussions on building sectoral networks and connecting the project with other initiatives. The annual meeting provided an excellent platform for inspiring discussions and strengthening collaboration among project partners.
