info@agrigep.euThe Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences (MATE) is encouraging women researchers and students to apply for the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification’s (UNCCD) call for proposals. This call aims to identify innovative women-led solutions for drought resilience and adaptation in drought-prone regions. Details of the call can be found on both the UNCCD website and MATE’s website, with a deadline for applications set for April 15th, 2024. The results will be announced at the 16th Meeting of the Parties (COP16) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with winning proposals presented in detail at the event. Furthermore, a study on the top 20 best practices will be published on World Rural Women’s Day, October 15th, 2024, with the aim of encouraging their use as recommended practices globally.
