The promotion of gender equality in STEAM higher education remains a key priority for institutions across Europe. This webinar will provide a platform for discussing institutional perceptions, challenges, and strategies that shape inclusivity in STEAM fields. Experts will share insights from the STREAM IT study, which examines gender equality approaches across 14 European countries, and present best practices from the STREAM IT, Road-STEAMer, and STE(A)M Learning Ecologies projects. The session will also explore barriers faced by girls and young women in STEAM education and highlight effective strategies that universities have implemented to foster more inclusive learning environments.
